FAQs

What will my child learn at RED Kids?

Three Truths for Preschool:
1. God Made Me

“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." -Psalm 139:13-14

2. God Loves Me

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 8:38-39

3. Jesus wants to be my friend forever.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." - John 3:16

Three Truths for Elementary:

1. Wisdom

I need to make the wise choice. So I will...

  • Trust and follow Jesus

  • Spend time getting to know God

  • Do whatever God says

  • Discover God’s unique plan for my life

2. Faith

I can trust God no matter what because…

  • He is my Creator

  • He is my Father

  • He is my Guide

  • He is my Savior

3. Friendship

I should treat others the way I want to be treated. So I will…

  • Show God’s love to those around me

  • Care enough to put others before me

  • Respect whoever God puts over me

  • Be the right friend to those beside me

  • I want to be more like Jesus

How do I check in to RED Kids?

On your first visit, look for the RED Kids area. If you can’t find it, one of our pastors or volunteers will be happy to help you!

Once at RED Kids, you'll be welcomed by a RED Kids volunteer eager to meet your family and show you how RED Kids works. When you arrive, we’ll ask for some information to get your child checked in safely. This will include your name as guardian, the name of your child or children, their birthday so we can celebrate them, as well as your address, a phone number for emergencies, an email, and any special instructions we need to make sure your child has a safe and happy experience with RED. We'll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions.

How does RED Kids ensure the safety of my kids?

At RED Kids, safety is one of our highest priorities. That's why we have a secure check-in system at RED Church. Upon check-in, you'll receive matching identification stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. After service, you'll show the RED Kids leader in your child's classroom your matching tag so we can release your child to you safely.

Every RED Kids volunteer is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our staff. Additionally, our hallway is monitored by background-checked kids volunteers during each service to make sure your child stays safe and secure.

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we will share your child's identification code on the screen in the sanctuary.

What is RED Kids doing to make sure my kids stay healthy during COVID?

We want to ensure your kids remain healthy, not just due to COVID, but no matter the season. As such, we have implemented the following:

  • Temperature checks at the door

  • Hand sanitizer stations at each classroom

  • Cleaning between services

  • Outdoor activities (weather permitting)
